My Cofee Follow Up
I enjoy this caffeine version of the Maurten drinks because it helps to sustain my coffee buzz well into my long run. I'll notice if I don't have caffeine after my first cup in the morning I'll tend to crash mid way through my run but this drink mix or the caffeine gels prevent that and also provide a good boost of energy.
The best so far
Chose Maurten for a recent ultra marathon, seemed to work better than anything else I've tried. Next time I think I'll alternate between caffeine & non-affiliated for longer distance.

Outstanding product used during half marathon training to see how it performs just used to one sachet for the run which kept me high hydrated for the the full run caffeine leaves in the drink kept me focused and feeling alert would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an edge.
Good for marathons!
I pack a 500mL softflask of this for the start of a marathon, drinking ~30% before the start and getting me through the first ~45 mins before switching to gels (CAF100/GEL100 alternating) for the rest, taking one every 30 mins.
